Since January 2009, Edenred coordinates the FOOD European project which is in line with the sustainable development program of the group. Balanced nutrition matches with one of the 8 priorities.

This project is co-financed by the European Commission and mobilises more than 20 public and private partners in 6 European countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Spain and Sweden).

The objective is to promote balanced nutrition for the employees and the restaurant’s owners. In restaurants, it aims to improve the nutritional quality on offer and facilitates consumer choice through improved information and awareness communicated through employers to their employees.

All the information concerning the implementation of the project, the presentation of the partners, as well as a detailed diary of the international meetings and conferences on the balanced food subject, is henceforth open to the public.
