The World health Organisation has launched on the occasion a publication entitled Healthy workplaces: a model for action.

It addresses:
•    work-related physical and psychosocial risks;
•    promotion and support of healthy behaviours;
•    broader social and environmental determinants.

WHO regards the workplace as a setting for protecting and promoting the health of workers, their families and the community.
